Although suffering from severe depression, Vanity sure lives up to her name. She's extremely vain and self centered. She strongly feels she's the most beautiful thing on the planet. Even with this being a main trait of her personality, Vanity also is strong willed and refuses to back down from a fight, if she thinks she's right, she's right. This also makes her closed minding. She's not open to new ideas. She's also quite stubborn like her father. This could be a dose of her German blood, a thick headed drinker. To be fair, she's really sweet when you get to know her, and very open about her emotions and how everyone else should feel. Vanity is also a confident young lady, she has no fear of hardly anything, yet thunder storms cause her to scream and squirm. All in all, she's self centered, but sweet when someone breaks that shell to her.

Her mother was born on the north side of Scotland, she was raised by a wealthy family, and was brought up in a well contained community. Vanity's father was born in Germany and lost both his parents in World War two, thus he grew up in an orphanage and was never adopted. On his Sixteenth birthday he was release from the orphanage and sent to live on his own, he moved to Scotland and met Vanity's mother. This is where they started dating. After 2 years of dating, he purposed to her, and they moved back to Germany. Here they had two children, Vanity and her brother. 7 years after Vanity's brother was born, a fire was set to their house and unfortunately Vanity was the only one to survive as she was not home.[break][break]

After her parents and brother's death, Vanity turned to the streets for all her needs. She started prostituting, drugging, all the things her parents raised her not to do. This prostitution caused her to turn to being a stripper. She worked as a stripper for four years, this is where her narcissism comes from. She found she was prettier than all the other strippers in her club. As she got older, she learned that stripping wasn't a way of life and turned to working on music, and her music flourished. Then it was thrown aside as she discovered snake and spider keeping. Mind you, she continued to play music, it just wasn't the center of her attention. When she grew bored with just working with snakes and spiders, she took strong interest in men, and thus started clubbing, and it opened to prostitution again. One night she met this sweet man who tied her wrists together. She found this to be a turn on. He asked her if she could be his "sub." She didn't know what this meant so instinctively she said yes. She was now introduced to the world of dom/sub life. She loved the fact that she was owned, but also the center of his attention, the center of his world. This continued for six months until he grew tired of her and threw her on the streets.[break][break]

Growing tired of all her street problems, Vanity attended police academy with the help of the local social security office who funded her education. Many months later, Vanity was now a police officer specialized in Mounted Duties. Wanting to protect people to defend them from what she herself had been put through.[break][break]

Shortly after moving to Firefly Falls she fell in love with Jay Baker, and is now pregnant with his child.
